During the 2022 GoodwoodFestival of Speed, The content Creator has filmed the ChargeCars, a London-based technology startup, has reimagined the classic 1967 FordMustang Fastback into a luxury electric vehicle, by combining a classic design with EV tech.
ChargeCars has replaced the Mustang’s combustion engine with a 536 horsepower electric motor that has a torque output of 5,532 pound-feet. With that much power, cars can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96.5 kmh) in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 149 mph (239 kmh). With its 62 kWh battery pack, which can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in an hour, the new electricMustang has a range of 200 miles (322 km).
Charge Cars’ ElectricMustang is now available for reservation for $80,000 more than the original price, at a starting price of $460,000.
